Rise and Shine!!! Metallics and Mini Dresses are back with a vengeance. The trend this season is sexy shine. As pictured Kim Kardashian and Elisa Dushku are showing us great examples of this trend done right. Forever 21 and AmericanApparel have some great alternatives we can all afford.
When choosing metallics there are a few things to consider:
1. The type of material of the garment-Fabrics with shine if not chosen wisely can come across as low quality(cheap). To prevent this, try the item on first. Is there a stretch to the fabric or do you just look like roll of aluminum foil?
2. No Shine Overload-I am all for glitz but sometimes there can be too much. If you are going to incorporate shine into your ensemble, please use discretion. Do not ever wear this fabric as a top and bottom. The fashion police will be called immediately. Choose one garment and stick to it.
3. Have Fun-Metallics are all about fun and making statement. So OWN IT AND BE FIERCE.

This is a in genius idea. Whoever came up with the creation is smart beyond their years. Wearing a scarf "to me" is a difficult task. Trying to position and wrap the scarf always leaves me in a state of bondage. (and it's nowhere near sexy)
So again "for me" it eliminates all the construction of scarf drapery. It is very simple, if you would like the scarf to hang low just place around your neck. If you would like volume and complexity just "Wrap and Go". In the picture there are some examples of how it can be transformed into more than just a scarf.
I would personally recommend everyone at least purchase one for the fall season. Stick with a neutral color so that it will be able to transcend over your wardrobe.

I am very inspired by the neutral color palette. I am not so sure it is fall appropriate but who cares, I am not a big follower of trends anyway. I was browsing on Polyvore.com and came across some beautiful collages of the true inspiration. Below are some items that us "frugal" ladies can afford and still hold true to the essence of neutral tones.

Kim Kardashian is a CERTIFIED FASHION ICON.
Her style has graduated to a more feminine/sexy but mature look.
I heard sometime ago that she was looking to hire Angelina Jolie's stylist, and if this is who is in charge of her image KUDOS TO YOU. She is a very beautiful woman and I love to see her progression and sophistication that has come through in her image. KIM KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Below is Kim's Look is created for Under $80.

Disco pants are back. The fashion of Studio 54 is slowly making its way back into the 21st century. I just want to say that I am in love with the high waisted shiny metallic pant.
American Apparel and Forever 21 have similar designs but extremely different price tags. Which would you choose? Would you rather SAVE or SPLURGE?
